Terms of Service
Effective 2026-08-03 · Version 2026-08-03
These Terms govern your use of the Deep Reading apps and website. By creating an account or using Deep Reading, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptance of these Terms
By registering an account, signing in, or otherwise using Deep Reading, you enter into a binding agreement with us on these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Deep Reading. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. Where local law requires a higher age or parental consent, you must satisfy that requirement instead.
Your account responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for the accuracy of the registration information you provide.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: do not upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content; do not attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to reach; do not disrupt or reverse-engineer the service; do not use automated tools to scrape or degrade the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
AI-generated content
AI features provide responses on an "as is" basis. Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading — you are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for ensuring you have the rights to process it through our AI features. We do not guarantee any specific output or availability for AI features.
Payments and refunds
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Creem. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in the refund policy shown at checkout. You can cancel a paid plan at any time; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period. Disputes about charges should be directed to the processor or to us at [email protected].
Intellectual property
We own the Deep Reading software, branding, and service. You retain all rights to the books, notes, and content you upload; by using the service you grant us the limited license needed to host, process, and sync your content to deliver the features. Feedback you give us may be used without restriction.
Limitation of liability
Deep Reading and its AI features are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Deep Reading, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You may bring disputes in the courts of that jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version above identifies the current Terms; a new version takes effect on the date stated. Continued use of Deep Reading after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
